VS ONE Chairman, Mr. Prabodha Sumanasekera joined the CNBC Africa’s power lunch program as a guest. In this program Mr. Gunasekara explained the strategy of VS ONE for African continent. Mr. Sumanasekera highlighted his strategy which includes Africa first approach where VS ONE will not only focus on technology, but also developing and using the local talent to build solutions in Africa with an Africa first approach.

When asked “Why Rwanda” , Mr. Sumanasekara highlighted the leadership of the country, the continues sectoral growth and stability of Rwanda as well as Rwanda becoming a hub in transport , communication and becoming a key service center.

VS ONE Chairman highlighted that VS ONE would be a total integrated IT Solution provider and would be focusing on Health , Banking and Finance and Public Sector. Mr. Prabodha highlighted that they would be venturing the market with some innovative solutions including banking transformation with Open banking.

When asked how VS ONE would bridge the digital divide , Mr. Sumanasekara highlighted that recruiting and developing the local talent would be the first initiative.
